Board and committee self-evaluation is now a standard requirement of most governance codes. It’s also a characteristic of good governance. We provide a range of services in this area, as described below.
We facilitate Boards and Committees in conducting their internal self-evaluation:
We issue the questionnaires, analyse the responses, and meet with the Board and its Committees to review their answers and create an action plan for improvement.
We conduct external evaluations of Boards and Committees:
We undertake independent evaluations of Boards, in line with the Code of Practice for the Governance of State Bodies (section 4.6: An external evaluation proportionate to the size and requirements of the State body should be carried out at least every 3 years).
